The project is situated at the gateway of the Yangtze New District in Wuhan. The existing municipal ramp bridge will soon be repurposed, losing its traffic function to make way for an engaging and iconic landscape tower. Once transformed, it will become a vital link connecting the riverside park with the future community park.
We aim to create a landscape system that evokes the imagery of a soaring bird, flowing water, or drifting clouds—a space where one can unwind at any moment. We envision walking on a soft, cloud-like surface, where everything slows down and relaxes. The flowing "cloud," without clear boundaries, blurs the spatial limits of the existing site while forming a versatile ground for various activities. People can gather here from all directions—to play, unwind, daydream, or simply lie down. When this "cloud" stretches horizontally, it becomes a bridge; when it stacks upward, it transforms into a viewing tower. Layers are distinguished by different colors, reflecting the changing hues of the surrounding vegetation throughout the four seasons.
