The site is located on the banks of the Desheng River, part of the Pearl River system. The riverside area is densely packed with residential buildings, creating a monotonous and indifferent urban interface that lacks public spaces. The project is adjacent to Shunde Bridge, making it a key location for enhancing the city's image and shaping its first impression.
The site boasts stunning river views, but the land conditions are constrained. The plot is long and narrow, with a 200-meter-high bridge structure on one side and 100-meter-high residential buildings on the other. The challenge lies in maximizing the advantages of the site within this limited space while mitigating the negative impact of the existing surroundings. At the same time, the goal is to enhance the city's image and provide a high-quality public space.
In the planning and design, we positioned high-rise buildings at both ends of the site to break the monotonous urban interface. Together with Shunde Gate and Dongshengli Desheng One, they enrich the city skyline and serve as regional landmarks, creating a strong first impression of the city. The central area features a community commercial zone inspired by a waterfront pier concept, incorporating diverse and dynamic terrace spaces. On the eastern side, a sports park integrates with the commercial area, forming a vibrant, open, green, and artistic district.
For product design, we adopt strategies such as maximizing frontage, offering 270° river views, creating flexible spaces, and ensuring north-south ventilation to fully leverage the site’s advantages. This project is envisioned as an urban complex that integrates dining, sports, commercial spaces, offices, hotels, apartments, and a sports park.
